Earth Day Celebration by N.S.S Unit |
In the Sant Hirdaram college campus NSS unit celebrated world Earth day. Approx 57 plants planted. Rev. Sidh Bahu ji was the chief guest On this occasion. Rev Sidh bahu ji addressed to NSS volunteers. All the volunteers took the oath that they shall plant at least a tree every year. Special Camp By N.SS Unit
A awareness programme about Environment, Water conservation, Traffic rules was organised on 12TH Auguest 2010. A team of N.S.S. unit about 50 members participated in the awareness camp . They conducted an awareness campaign against common problems at College campus. Around100 students participated in the camp and they provided with brochure containing details about how we conserve water and earth.
Sadbhavna Diwas
On the occasion of Sadbhavna Diwas the rally was arranged on 23rd August at 9.30 a.m. Rally took round from College campus to Sant ji,s pious Samadhi (Sewa Sankalp Dham ). Near about 500 students & all nss volunteers & instructors & members of NSS advisory committee took active part in the rally & programme..
Role of plants
Plantation programme was held in the campus of Sant Hirdaram Girls College by N.S.S unit .The objective of the progrrame was planting more and more tree by every one On this occasion Chairman of the Shaheed Hemu Kalani educational Society Rev. Sidh Bhau ji started the plantation programme by planting one sapling. He said, plants have a key role in our daily life. Plants are contributing the right condition for life on the earth .Animals and human being directly or indirectly depend upon the plants .So we have to take the responsibility to save our environment through planting trees .Bhauji said We should plant Tulsi and other small medicinal plants to save our environment. Principal of the college ,Staff members ,students and were present on this occasion.
